Ms. Erma Lee Simpson, M.A.
Ms. Simpson is the Founder and Executive Director of The Hagar Center, Inc. She is employed at The Exchange Club Family Center, where she is a Family Therapist and Program Director of First S.T.E.P.S., and the Parent Aide program. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Crichton College and earned a Masters of Art in Counseling from Harding University.
Ms. Erma is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, Tennessee Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and American Association of Christian Counselors. She is a Certified Nurturing Parenting Facilitator, a Prepare and Enrich Pre-Marital Counselor and a Parent-Child Interaction Therapist.
Ms. Erma received the 2012 Women History Makers Award for Youth Advocacy from Victory University. She has appeared on TBN’s “Joy in Our Town,” and the 2008, 20/20 documentary, “Babyland.” She is a volunteer with the Juvenile Court Foster Care Review Board. She enjoys walking, yoga and reading.
